Background:
To share our experience and learn from others Amway will host a Michigan Lean Consortium Lean education event on Thursday, October 5th. The topic is “How to develop and sustain the use of visual management systems in knowledge based work.” This session would include a short presentation on why Amway decided to pursue Visual Management, high-level approach, multiple ‘go sees’ of active VMS boards in the office area (ITM and others) and end with a discussion on skill building and sustainability.
