This course covers the characteristics of a successful change leader, the elements needed to inspire change, and the tools and resources available to support change. It will be taught by Dale Schreiner, a Senior Organizational Development Consultant here at DTE Energy. 

Course Goal: Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

1. Explain how the DTE Energy Change Leadership Characteristics might shape their personal approach in leading change within their assigned area of responsibility.

2. Apply the DTE Energy Change Model "Elements" to strengthen change leadership effectiveness for an in-process or planned change in their area of responsibility.

Dale Schreiner has a 40+ year career at DTE Energy, the first half of his career was in engineering, project management, and leadership, and the second half in organization development. He has been instrumental in influencing, developing and implementing DTE's change practices and principles supporting employees during mergers, restructurings, technology and culture change. Dale's outside interest include: worship, vacation, food, brewing, and woodworking.
