We are excited to announce the start of the MLC Board of Directors nomination process for 2026, open from August 12, 2025, to September 12, 2025.  

This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated individuals to help advance our mission. The MLC Board of Directors is a working board where members apply lean concepts in a collaborative environment. Although these are volunteer positions, they provide valuable experience and a chance to make a significant impact.  

• A member of MLC in good standing
• Attend 100% of Board Meetings (to the best of their ability): 
• • Annual Conference/State of the Business meeting (in-person required)
  • Quarterly F2F (in-person) 
  • Monthly board meetings (virtual)
• Volunteer at least twice per year, including one in-person event
• Evidence of Lean practitioner experience (i.e., Certification) 
• Current resume
• Written endorsement from immediate supervisor 
• One letter of recommendation (outside of your supervisor)
• Time commitment (minimum 5 hours weekly)

• Evidence of Lean practitioner experience (i.e., Certification)

• Written endorsement from immediate supervisor 
• One letter of recommendation (outside of your supervisor)

Note: If elected, new members will work with existing board members to determine their position.

The Election Committee will review all submissions, conduct interviews, and finalize a candidate slate for membership voting in November. Feedback will be provided for all candidates.
